About

Our approach

Mission

Build a disciplined, network-driven family investment platform focused on learning, long-term relationships, and thoughtful capital allocation.

Investment, sourcing & risk strategy

We are not a full-time institutional venture firm. We do not aim to independently underwrite every aspect of diligence, and we do not assume informational superiority in venture investing. Our strategy is intentionally network-driven and partnership-oriented.

  • We rely heavily on trusted lead investors, operators, and domain experts with demonstrated track records.
  • We believe poor sourcing is one of the largest drivers of underperformance.
  • The majority of opportunities must originate through highly trusted networks — institutional investors, experienced operators, or validated founder referrals — and must have an existing lead investor.
  • We avoid opportunistic investing based solely on personal relationships, unsolicited outreach, or non-specialized intermediaries lacking strong venture credibility.

Portfolio construction

  • Stage: Early-stage investing focused on Pre-Seed, Seed, and selective Series A–B.
  • Target pace: 3–7 investments annually.
  • Sourcing: The large majority of opportunities must be sourced through trusted networks — reputable funds, operators, and founder referrals. We avoid trend-driven investing outside our networks, expertise, or underwriting discipline.

Portfolio focus

  • Healthcare: services, technology, medical devices.
  • Consumer: CPG products, enablement, and infrastructure.
  • Operations: industrial and operational technology.
  • Technology: vertical software connected to industries we understand well.

Learning & network development

  • The venture program supports long-term relationship development, network expansion, and continued investment learning across generations.
  • Building trusted partnerships with founders, operators, investors, and domain experts is a core component of the strategy.
  • We value patience, humility, and continuous improvement over short-term investment activity.
